Two leading members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State, on Thursday lent their voices to the growing applause over last Tuesday’s Supreme Court judgment which dismissed a petition by the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Mr. Agboola Ajayi, against the victory of Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, and his deputy, Dr. Olayide Adelami.

A stalwart of the All Progressives Congress (APC) who was deputy director-general for the Aiyedatiwa Adelami Campaign Council for the Noverber 16, 2024 governorship election, Dr. Olumuyiwa Adu, also known as Adu Cubana, described the judgement as screaming validity of the poll.

Also, a party chairmanship aspirant in the state’s APC, Dr, Olajide Owoka, said the verdict was affirmation that Aiyedatiwa’s leadership was ordained by God.

Adu, in a message issued in Akure, congratulated Aiyedatiwa “on the affirmation of the screaming validity of his victory at the November 16, 2025 governorship election”.

“The Supreme Court judgement dismissing the petition of opposition PDP against the governor, his deputy and the APC is a seal on what we all know as the Truth.

“I what has now been known as 18-0 Pro Max, Governor Aiyedatiwa and his deputy won in all the 18 local government areas, indicating their acceptance all over the state, ” he lauded.

Adu also noted that the fact that the APC repeated the 18-0 feat in the recent local government election further solidified the acceptance of the party under the Aiyedatiwa leadership.

In the same vein, Owoka, a frontline aspirant for the position of State Chairman of the APC in Ondo described the Supreme Court verdict as God’s ordination of the leadership of the Governor.

He said, “The winner has won fairly and those who lost have lost justly; it is now time to support the governor to succeed in his onerous task of rebuilding infrastructure, enhancing security, and promoting the general welfare of the people of our dear State.

“I congratulate our amiable Governor for this well-deserved victory and pray for a peaceful tenure”.
