The Ogeloyinbo of Aiyetoro and Spiritual Majesty of the Holy Apostles’ Church, Aiyetoro, Oba Micah Olaseni Ajijo, has called on all Aiyetoro indigenes in Ondo State to support and vote for Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa in the Saturday.
In a statement personally signed by the monarch, he emphasised the significance of Governor Aiyedatiwa’s efforts in mitigating Aiyetoro’s coastal erosion, which has posed a severe threat to both the livelihoods and safety of the community.
The Ogeloyinbo highlighted that Aiyedatiwa’s dedication to this cause, in collaboration with federal authorities, demonstrates a genuine commitment to the well-being and development of Aiyetoro.
This call to action seeks to unify Aiyetoro’s indigenes across Ondo State to show their support in the election, not only as a vote of confidence in Aiyedatiwa’s leadership but also as a means of securing continued focus on solving long-standing environmental challenges in the region.
The monarch reassured the community of his trust in the current administration’s ongoing projects aimed at restoring Aiyetoro’s coastline and ensuring the prosperity of its people.
The appeal, punctuated by the rallying cry “ODATIWA, ODIRORUN!” encourages collective action, reminding all Aiyetoro natives of the impact their vote could have on the future of their homeland.
