The Executive Chairman of Akoko South West Local Government Area, Hon. Ayo Ajana, has approved the appointment of twelve Personal Assistants to support his administration’s grassroots development agenda.

According to a statement issued by the Chairman, the new aides will serve in various capacities, including youth affairs, community engagement, women matters, students affairs, and non-indigene interests.

Those appointed include Bisola Yaya (Youth Affairs); Samson Adeoye, Ogooluwa Sanni, Patrick Awe, Pelumi Emmanuel Odomo, Alabi Benson, Tanimowo Ojo Felix, and Olugoji Julius (Community Engagement); Emmanuel Samson (Non-Indigene Interest); Teloye Ogunleye (Youth Affairs); Mrs. Modupe Adedeji (Women Matters); and Samuel Olorunsola (Students Affairs).

Ajana, however, congratulated the appointees and urged them to carry out their duties with integrity, diligence and accountability in line with his administration’s commitment to a people-oriented governance model.

He emphasized that the appointments reflect his administration’s resolve to strengthen youth inclusion, promote community participation, and ensure effective communication between the council and residents.

The Chairman further stated that the aides are expected to serve as key links between the local government and various segments of society to drive development initiatives.

“Their appointments take immediate effect,” Ajana said, while reaffirming his administration’s vision of building a more prosperous and people-centered Akoko South West.
