Ajilo commends Aiyedatiwa’s infrastructural strides

By Sade Adewale

Renowned public health expert and development advocate, Dr. Michael Akintomide Ajilo has commended Governor Aiyedatiwa’s infrastructural strides across Ondo State.

In a public statement reflecting deep admiration and patriotic optimism, Dr Ajilo described it as a “revolutionary drive in infrastructural development” currently transforming the state.

Ajilo, a respected public health expert and development advocate, praised the Aiyedatiwa-led administration for breathing new life into long-abandoned projects while initiating critical new ones aimed at improving connectivity, service delivery, and overall economic vitality.

He cited the revival of the proposed Modern Banquet Complex at Alagbaka originally conceived during the administration of Dr. Olusegun Agagu two decades ago as a prime example of the governor’s commitment to continuity and resource efficiency.

“The decision to complete projects left behind by previous administrations is not only bold, but also deeply patriotic,” Dr. Ajilo stated. “It underscores a leadership style that prioritizes the people over politics.”

Ajilo also highlighted the significant progress on the construction of the Onyearugbulem-Irese flyover in Akure and the rehabilitation of 60 kilometers of strategically selected roads across the state. According to him, these initiatives will improve rural-urban access, enhance transportation networks, facilitate service delivery, and catalyze economic growth by better connecting people and markets.

As infrastructure continues to shape the foundation of sustainable development in Ondo State, Dr. Ajilo called on stakeholders to support the current administration’s vision for a more connected and prosperous future.
