Akeredolu bags ‘Notability’ Award Deji, Olowo, Akinterinwa, others too

Ondo state Governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, yesterday said he would use his second term inauguration coming up on February 24, next year, to praise God.
The Governor revealed this while being presented an award of ‘Notability’ by De Emeralds Perfect Expression, a Gospel Musical Group in Akure, the state capital.
He explained that there is nothing greater than serving God and serving Him in praises, promising to continue to praise God for his goodness in his life.
Akeredolu who described his second term re-election as an act of God, said he would forever be grateful to God for what HE is doing in his life and the state at large.
“I love music. I’m a member of the choir in my church and by the grace of God when I leave as Governor I will go back to the choir in my church. There is nothing else that is greater than serving God and serving him in praises.
“I have always enjoyed it thoroughly. I love singing, singing is part of me”, the Governor emphasised.
He also described the organiser of the event, Gbenga Obagbemi, as a man of many parts who is doing wonderfully well through music.
Earlier, the organiser of the event, Gbenga Obagbemi who is also the Choir Director, Government House Chapel, lauded governor Akeredolu for doing exceedingly well in all ramifications as Governor of Ondo state.
He stressed that the Notability Award was to appreciate the Governor’s contributions to the development of the state and humanity.
Other personalities who bagged Excellence Awards for humanitarian services included the Deji of Akure, Oba Aladetoyinbo Aladelusi; the Olowo of Owo, Oba Gbadegesin Ogunoye and Mr. Ife Oyedele;
Others are, Ondo State Commissioner for Finance, Wale Akinterinwa; Chief Adeleke Adedipe; Mr. Taiwo Olabode; and Segun Olugboyegun.
