Akeredolu clocks 6 in office today

Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu will be six years in office today. Having won his first term election on November 26, 2016 and inaugurated on February 24, 2017Upon his sterling performance during his first term in office, he was reelected on October 10, 2020.In the last six years of his administration, many feats have been recorded that endeared the governor to the heart of the people. Among his record breaking achievements was the payment of 78 months salaries in his 72 months in office, the extra six months payment were the debt owed by the immediate past governor, Dr. Olusegun Mimiko, regular payment of students bursary and scholarship, road construction including first ever flyover at Ore interchange, spareheading the establishment of southwest joint security operatives codenamed Amotekun among others. Well meaning Nigerians are now sending congratulatory messages in celebration of the sixth anniversary in office. In their congratulatory messages to the Governor, Ondo State ministry of Science and Technology, Ondo State Local Government Staff Loans Board, Ondo State Development and Property Corporation, Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo noted that the Governor’s track records in Education, Economy, Security and Socio political developments have showed that he is a talk and do indeed and are happy to be identified with his administration.
