Akeredolu condoles Eyitayo Jegede
over mother’s death

Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu,  has expressed condolence to a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state, Mr. Eyitayo Jegede, SAN, over the death of his aged mother, Mama Caroline Olutola Jegede.

Governor Akeredolu in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Richard Olatunde congratulated the learned silk, Jegede for surviving his aged mother.

The Governor, who described Mama Jegede as a woman of substance, stressed that she will be sorely missed by her children.

“Mama Caroline Olutola Jegede lived a fulfilled life. She was a dedicated Christian who knew Christ. God granted her the grace and mercy to live long enough to witness the successes of her children.

“Although, no matter how long one’s mother lived, it is always hard to say goodbye and accept the reality of the finality of death, but we must always take solace in the fact that she lived a fulfilled life. God granted her long life and she knew the Prince of Peace.

“Mama was a worthy daughter of Ipele, Owo. We join the entire Jegede’s family to thank God for a life well spent. I condole and congratulate my brother and colleague, Eyitayo Jegede, SAN, for surviving his aged mother.
