Ondo State government under Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu has constructed additional four separate roads within Akure, the Ondo State capital.
The new roads include Ijapo extension, Olokunwolu (beside School of Nursing), Oba-Ile and Elshadai Roads totaling 9.1km length.
Commissioner for Infrastructure, Land and Housing, Engr Raimi Aminu, who went on an unscheduled inspection during the asphalt overlay of the separate projects, expressed satisfaction with the quality of job done.
The projects are another additions to thousands of kilometres road projects Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu has constructed as part of his aggressive infrastructural drive across the three Senatorial Districts of the state, especially within Akure metropolis.
Aminu said all the projects were being supervised by the officials of the Ministry, that the ministry officials and the consultant carried out day-to-day laboratory tests to ensure quality job.
According to him, all the hydraulic structures and surfacing followed standard quality which will make the projects durable for the benefit of the residents in the affected areas.
He applauded both the contractors and the supervising team for a job well done.
