Akeredolu gives automatic employment, scholarship to late CoP driver’s children

The Ondo State Governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, has promised full employment for the eldest son of the late driver of the Government House and Protocol, Mr Ajiboye Adeleke who died two weeks ago along with the Chief of Protocol to the Governor, Mr. Tosin Ogunbodede.
Adeleke died in a car crash on Saturday January 2, 2021, along Ilesha-Akure road.
Akeredolu made the gesture yesterday during a commendation Service held at the residence of the late Adeleke at Ala Quarters in Akure.
The governor was represented by the Acting Permanent Secretary, General Administration Department of the Governor’s Office, Mr. Michael Osodi and promised that other children of the deceased would also enjoy academic scholarships in pursuit of their education.
He described the driver as a humble and diligent officer who remained committed to his duties till he breathed his last.
He stated that the best way to keep alive the legacies of the deceased was for the immediate family to remain united and take his demise as the will of God.
In his exhortation, Pastor Shina Idowu of the Christ Apostolic Church, Ori Oke Agbara Nla, Oba-Ile, said Christians have the hope of eternity in paradise if they live their lived in service of God and humanity.
He enjoined the widow and children of the deceased to stand firm in their faith in God and refuse to be weighed down by the unfortunate incidence but rather rejoice that they will meet with their father on the last day in paradise.
