“Terms and Reference of the committee include : To invite written / Oral memoranda from the public, screen all memoranda and make recommendations to the state government.

“To make extensive consultations with the communities and their leaders and recommend provisional adjustment of the boundaries or proposed LCDAs, where neccessary.

“The commitee is also expected to recommend to the state government, the procedure for the creation of Local Council Development Areas out of the existing 18 Local Government Area in Ondo state”, the statement said.

Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu had on Monday tasked communities to summit memoranda for the creation of Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs).

Governor Akeredolu stated this on Monday at a thank you tour visit to Irele in Irele Local Government area of the State.

Akeredolu noted that LCDAs would bring more developmental strides to the state.
