Ondo State Governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu is alive contrary to media reports.

The clarification was made today by the state Commissioner for Information and Orientation, Mrs. Bamidele Ademola Olateju.

She said the governor is hale and hearty contrary to rumour that he is dead.

Also debunking the false reports, Chairman, Ondo State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), Victor Olabimtan, assured that the governor is hale and hearty

“Please, ignore them, I was with Gov. Akeredolu this morning at Ibadan. I went to visit him. He is hale and hearty. He was cool and okay.”

Social online news platforms have been awashed with false reports that Governor Akeredolu is dead.

Meanwhile, a video of Governor Akeredolu watching today’s FA Cup between Manchester City and Manchester United has surfaced on the internet.
