Akeredolu: Olu of Warri condoles Olowo
Jimoh Ahmed, Owo.
The Olowo of Owo, Oba (Dr) Ajibade Gbadegesin Ogunoye has received in audience the delegation from the Olu of Warri, His Majesty, Ogiame Atuwatse, CFR, on a condolence visit.
The delegation, led by the Ogwa-Olusan of Warri Kingdom, Chief Brown Mene, delivered a condolence letter from the Warri monarch.
In the letter, addressed to the Olowo of Owo and personally signed by the Olu himself, His Majesty described the news of the demise of the former Governor, as a rude shock and disturbing.
He pointed out that the late Governor was a dogged fighter and an advocate of noble causes for the masses.
Responding, Oba Ogunoye, thanked Ogiame Atuwatse for raising a team to commiserate with the throne, Owo Kingdom and the state.
The Olowo prayed for journey mercies for the delegation back to Warri, Delta State, just as he wished His Majesty Atuwatse III, a peaceful reign, progress and development for Warri Kingdom.
