Akeredolu, Osemawe, others honour Aguda-Taiwo at 65

Ondo State governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, was among dignitaries that graced the 65th birthday and retirement special thanksgiving service of the state President of Customary Court, Justice Folashade Aguda -Taiwo.
The twin service which held at St. Thomas’s Anglican Church, Akure on Wednesday also had in attendance the state deputy governor, Mr. Agboola Ajayi who stood in for the governor, the Secretary to the State Government, Mr. Ifedayo Abegunde, Commissioner for Justice and Attorney General of the state, Mr. Adekola Olawoye, SAN, Osemawe of Ondo Kingdom, HRM Oba Victor kiladejo, Deji of Akure land, HRM Oba Aladelusi Aladetoyinbo among other eminent personalities within and outside the state.
Delivering the sermon, the Anglican Bishop of Akure Diocese, Most Revd Dr. Simeon Borokini described the celebrant as someone who has enjoyed God’s grace and mercy to have attained such highly exalted position in her career.
Borokini who noted that it is only God that can promote and put people in places of authority, said Aguda-Taiwo has been really blessed to have attained the age of 65 and retired after serving the state meritoriously.
“The celebrant has enjoyed uncommon favour and safety in all her endeavours having worked throughout without being hurt. she indeed is living.”
