Akeredolu Swears-in Takuro as Commissioner

Ondo State Governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, has sworn-in Mr. Amidu Takuro as State Commissioner.

  Takuro was sworn-in yesterday at the EXCO Chamber of the Governor’s office, Alagbaka, Akure. He is from Odigbo Local Government area of the State.

The swearing-in followed his screening and confirmation by the State House of Assembly.

Members of Takuro’s family including his wife attended the event. The Deputy Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa and members of the State Executive Council led by the Secretary to the State Government, Princess Oladunni Odu also witnessed the ceremony

Governor Akeredolu congratulated him and members of his family, while charging him to see his new position as a call to serve the people of the State.

Speaking with Journalists shortly after his inauguration, the new commissioner appreciated God and Governor Akeredolu for finding him worthy of the appointment, promising to justify the confidence reposed in him by giving his best in the service of the state in line with the Governor’s REDEEMED Agenda.

Takuro who explained that he is overjoyed and challenged, further promised to add value to the system.

“By the grace of God, we will do everything to ensure the state continues to move. Our Governor has done a lot to transform this state and we will continue to support him to deliver more dividends of good governance to the people. We will not disappoint”,  he  stressed.
