Akeredolu will be forever remembered– ODHA

Members of the Ondo State House of Assembly have poured out tributes to late Governor of Ondo State, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu.
The Lawmakers who paid the tribute during a plenary held after the sad incident of the death of the Governor described him as a dogged fighter and a Leader per excellence.
It was a solemn moment in the hallowed chamber of the Ondo State House of Assembly as the Legislators poured out rain of Tributes and dirges on the Late Governor of the State who passed on to the great beyond during a brief illness.
The Speaker, Olamide Oladiji who led the session of tributes to the memory of The Late Governor described him as a Visionary Leader, formidable stabilizer and hero whose path in politics are immeasurable.
Mr Oladiji noted that Late Akeredolu will forever be remembered for his unprecedented achievement in Southwest and in the Country as a whole.
“The News of death of our Visionary Leader, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN CON in the early morning of 27th December, 2023 was sadden and devastated to us his followers”
Also, the Majority Leader of the House, Oluwole Ogunmolasuyi, Deputy Majority Leader, Tosin Ogunlowo-Ajirotutu and other Lawmakers while acknowledging the political role of the Late Governor, described Akeredolu as a National Politician who was progressive in nature.
The Lawmakers described the late Governor as a man of integrity who displayed transparency, strength, stand by the truth and committed to the development of the State, praying for God to grant him eternal rest and grant his family,State and Nigeria the fortitude to bear the loss.
The Majority leader, Oluwole Ogunmolasuyi had earlier moved a motion of tribute for the late Governor on the floor of the House which was seconded by a lawmaker representing Ifedore constituency,Temitope Akomolafe.
Thereafter, a minute silence was observed for the honour of the Deceased during the plenary.
