A coalition of non-indigenes resident in Ondo State have given thumbs-up to the leadership style of Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, which the group said has impacted positively on the lives of residents of the Sunshine State.
Speaking during its visit to the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Chief Olugbenga Ale, the Forum of Non- indigenes for Aketi Season 2 said Governor Akeredolu has effectively used the instrument of governance to better the lots of indigenes and non-indigenes in the state.
The leader of the group, Alaba Medaiyedu said all residents of Ondo State without any form of discrimination have been given equal opportunity to undertake legitimate enterprise to excel and survive.
In view of the development, Mr Medaiyedu said his group has commenced intensive and massive grassroots mobilization of all non- indigenes across the state to give Arakunrin Akeredolu a robust and solid support for the actualisation of his second term in office.
“Mr Governor has done well for both indigenes and non-indigenes. He deserves a second term as Governor of Ondo State. We will get all members to make it happen with ease”, he assured.
The group equally extolled the support of the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Chief Olugbenga Ale who the group said is committed to the administration’s course.
The group present some branded materials including a vehicle, caps and roll up banner as tools to drive home its commitment to the 2nd Term Project of Governor Akeredolu.
In his reaction, the Chief of Staff, Chief Olugbenga Ale said it was heartwarming that residents of Ondo State are appreciative of the fact that the Arakunrin Akeredolu has redefined governance in a manner that their aspirations are seen as the kernel for the 5 Point Development Agenda of the present administration.
While charging the group to remain fervent in its determination to make the second term bid of the Governor a smooth sailing to victory, the Chief of Staff enjoined all well meaning persons to join the continuity train for the actualisation of the long sought after dreams of economic and industrial breakthrough for the Sunshine State.
