Akindunbi celebrates 50th birthday

Teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom, in line with this Biblical teaching, Pastor Dayo Akindumbi alongside his family, friends and well wishers to thanked God as he clocked the golden age.
The well attended thanksgiving service was held at the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, Sufficient Grace Cathedral, Akure.
In his sermon at the thanksgiving service Provincial Pastor. RCCG, Ondo Province 13, Ayo Oluwatusin charged servants of God to serve diligently and know that nobody serves God with any regret later in life.
Oluwatusin said that in serving God, there will always be snares and fowlers on the path, but God can see his own through the visititudes of life.
” It is not that you know how to do it, it is God that has seen you through. You must spend your life wisely, faithfully in tandem with God.
”When God is adding to our days, he is doing so that you must use those days to honour him. When celebrating, we must be cautious.
Also speaking at the occasion, the Pastor in Charge of Province 1, Ondo State, Pastor Oye Oyesola described Pastor Akindunbi as a man after the heart of God,
He prayed that Pastor Akindunbi will live more and more in the service of God, urging him to continue to press further and serve God diligently with his might.
Oyesola said he has known the celebrant for long, and for one day he has not defaulted in serving God with all that he have.
He described him as a cheerful giver to anything that has to do with God, praying that he will live long to serve God Almighty.
The celebrant who could not hide his joy said the only way to appreciate God for his mercy over his life is thanksgiving
Highlights of the celebration was an elaborate reception held at an Event Centre with Muyiwa Famuyide and his band dished out sonorous music to entertain the guests.
