…calls for unity in moving Ondo State forward

Former Commissioner for Information and Orientation in Ondo State, Otunba Wale Akinlosotu, has congratulated Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa and his deputy, Dr Olayide Adelami, mni on their resounding victory at the Ondo State Governorship Election Tribunal.

In a statement released to the press, Otunba Akinlosotu described the tribunal’s verdict as a victory for democracy, justice, and the people of Ondo State, noting that the judgment reaffirms the people’s trust and confidence in Governor Aiyedatiwa’s leadership.

“This victory is not just personal to His Excellency, Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa; it is a win for every well-meaning citizen of Ondo State who desires continuity, stability, and development. The Governor has shown uncommon commitment to purposeful leadership and the betterment of our state, and this verdict further strengthens that path,” Akinlosotu stated.

He further called on all opposition parties and political stakeholders to sheath their swords and rally around the Governor in the collective task of building a stronger and more prosperous Ondo State.

“At this crucial point in our democratic journey, I call on all political actors to put aside partisan interests and join hands with the Governor in the interest of the people. Development thrives in an atmosphere of peace and unity, and now is the time to put Ondo State first,” he added.

Otunba Akinlosotu commended the judiciary for its professionalism and for upholding the integrity of the democratic process while reaffirming his unwavering support and loyalty to Governor Aiyedatiwa’s administration.
