Akoko N’East chairman appoints new aides

In a bid to strengthen grassroots governance and promote youth inclusion, the Chairman of Akoko North-West Local Government, Mutiu Olawale, has approved the appointment of new political aides across various sectors of the council.
The appointments were disclosed in a statement issued by the Special Adviser on New Media to the Chairman, Agun Abiola and made available to Weekend Hope.
According to the statement, the development formed part of the administration’s continued efforts to ensure wider representation and inclusiveness in governance.
Those appointed are: Shittu Tajudeen, Special Adviser on Agriculture; Balogun Muriana, Special Assistant on Political Matters; Kolawole Abass, Special Assistant on Student Affairs; and Arowolo Bariyu, Special Assistant on Media.
Others include Iyanuoluwa Rabiu, Special Assistant on Media; Busari Ismaila Olakunle, Special Assistant on Media; Kolawole Sheriff, Special Assistant on Photography; Adeoye Stephen, Special Assistant on Mobilisation; and Umar Muhammad Yakuba, Special Assistant on Non-Indigene Affairs.
While congratulating the new appointees, Olawale urged them to bring fresh energy and innovation to their respective roles.
He stressed that their selection was a testament to their dedication and the administration’s drive towards empowering young people to actively participate in governance.
“This appointment is a clear signal of our commitment to youth empowerment and our determination to build a future that works for everyone,” he stated.
