Akungba accident: Mother of dead students, slumps, dies

Egbewa area of Ekiti State capital, Ado Ekiti was thrown into mourning yesterday as the mother of the three siblings of the Akungba-Akoko auto crash, Mrs Ronke Ojinni slumped and died.
The woman, a trader at the popular Bisi Market reportedly slumped when she was informed of the death of her three children.
The traumatised woman, eye witnessed account said just slumped and gave up the ghost as all efforts to revive her failed.
The deceased are: A 300 level of Business Administration, Ojinni Oluwaseun, Ojinni Ayokunle, Ojinni Kelvin.
A source in the town told our correspondent that one of the three children, Kelvin Ojinni a graduate of the University and operating a mini computer cyber cafe shop near the gate of the institution.
It was learnt that the three siblings who were native of Ijero-Ekiti lost their father when they were six years of age, while eldest son got married last year.
Two of the siblings were said to have joined their brother in the shop on the fateful day to assist him before they were crushed to death on the spot by the Dangote truck as a result of brake failure.
Our correspondent who visited the Egbewa area described the scene as pensive as sympathisers wept uncontrollable in sympathy with their bereaved colleague.
