Speaking at the event the Chief Coach of the team, Banjo Adepoju dropped the hint that the team is prepared to line up for the Nationwide league and the State FA Cup while the U-15 squad will embark on a trip to Denmark to participate in the Dana Cup Competition in July.
Coach Banjo also revealed that two of their players Olubobola Tosin and Ayo Adejubu joined Sunshine Stars earlier before the beginning of the present NPFL season reaffirming the move as a major achievement for management of the team.
Club Chairman Kingsley Ossai also known as Kaycee said the philosophy of the team has not changed from discovering and exposing home grown talents in Ondo State while also on the look out to record success in whatever competition they partake.
Kingsley further said that the team’s targets this season is to surpass their efforts of last season where they represented Ondo State in the Aiteo Federation Cup as one of the two representatives alongside Sunshine Stars while they also missed promotion to the National Nationwide League on the last day of the season.
