The All Progressives Congress (APC), in Akure South Local Government Area of Ondo State, has inaugurated  the ward coordinators in the council to work for the re-election of the President  Buhari and his Vice Osinbajo

The event tagged “Buhari and Osinbajo Mandate Team” which was held at the weekend had each coordinator inaugurated in 11 wards of the local government.

Speaking at the event, the APC Central Senatorial Candidate for  2019 elections, Senator Tayo Alasoadura, commended the party members in the council for their well organised campaigns, which he described as the best way attracting the electorate.

Alasoaduara, who noted that campaign has taken a new dimension without violence charged them to engage in man-to -man, woman-to-woman and neighbourhood-to-neighbourhood campaigns for the re-election of Buhari and Osinbajo and  other candidates contesting under the platform of the APC in the state.

 A chieftain of the party  Prince Olu Adegboro, called on the newly inaugurated coordinators to see the responsibility given to them  as a call to service for the victory of the party in the February and March general elections.

Adegoro, who noted that Akure has the largest voting strength among all the local governments told them to maintain the voting strength for the re-election of Buhari and Osinbajo and all candidates of the party.

He said if not  for Buhari, corruption would have been the order of the day and the economy of the country would have  collapsed.

The former commissioner tasked  party members to continue mobilising for the party and all its candidates ahead of  next month elections.

 His words: ” It is a thing of joy for the state being governed by APC-led government to vote  for  all  its candidate for various political offices to enhance developmental growth of the state.

He urged the people of  Ondo  state to vote for APC and not allow  of oppositions to discontinue the good work of the party.

Adegboro commended the State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu for his giant strides in taking the state to greater height .

On his part, the Akure Local Government Coordinator of the party, Mr. Mayokun Lawason-Alade, charged all the wards coordinators and members of the party to work in accordance with the party structure for the victory of the APC in the elections.
