Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development in Ondo State, Hon. Saka Yusuf-Ogunleye has commended Sunshine Stars for their dedication and commitment in their victory over Akwa United in the match day 35 of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) played in Akure .

The Commissioner while praising the team, said the result of the must-win match has moved Sunshine Stars from 18th to 11th position on the log.

Yusuf – Ogunleye thanked the Ondo State Governor, Hon. Lucky Aiyedatiwa and the entire football loving people of the state for their support.

He said :”I still solicit for more support from our sport loving Governor and football stakeholders in the state as we engage Doma United in the midweek clash in Gombe.”

“Our players showed total dedication and commitment in the game against Akwa United which later paid off in the second half, both players and fans are happy with the positive result”
