Singer James Friday aka Awaxy General has revealed why he doesn’t drink alcohol.

Fondly called ‘Awaxy General’, the singer explained to Friday Extravaganza what alcohol can cause to the body if care is not taking.

He hinted that he had been away from alcohol about   a decade ago, trust me, even before I started my music career.

Friday said “Alcohol consumption can lead to more lasting concerns that extend beyond your own mood and health.

“It causes persistent changes in mood, including anxiety and irritability.

He added that he doesn’t indulge in social vices because of his family background.

He, however, noted that he prefers to focus on his work instead of drinking alcohol.

Recalling some of the sacrifices he has made for the growth of his career, he said, “Dedication to my music and not getting enough sleep are the sacrifices I have made for the growth of my career.

When asked what is the funniest or weirdest question he had ever been asked in an interview, Awaxy affirmed that it was funny when he was asked how he involved  himself with a man of God.

Continuing, the hit Awaxy stated that he found it hard to answer and he was like how?

Speaking on the best song he had ever released, he stated that the best of his tracks is “FLY AWAY”

“I consider it the best because I involved myself in a relationship that has no future, but, God pushed me out of it, thinking it was a right way to go, not knowing I was playing with my future.

Speaking on one thing he would love his fans to remember about him, the Fly away single said his crazy performance.

“It is always crazy. Most of them do say, that Awaxy General dey blow my mind with his performance bro. Very crazy buddy.”

On what his creative process looks like, the Ondo born singer hinted that it is very good and tight, “I love doing things nobody has done before.”

When asked what should be expected from him in the future, he said he believes the future will indeed be great for sure, expect more hits from me. I will never relent until I make everyone proud.”

Asked some of the hard lessons he has learnt as an entertainer, he said, “it’s easy to get distracted in the music industry. However one lesson I have learnt is that my music career is more important than every other thing.”

On if he should be a fruit, which one would he be and why, he said apple.”Because apple is the best among the fruits. I so much love apple, back in those days,  It was apple I used to toast my girlfriend.”

Speaking on what is the most trouble that he had ever gotten into, he maintained that it was a live show concert, then a problem arose between his management and the event planner, which God later took control.

On what he is most proud of  he said definitely “I am proud of my fans and my family, they are just too much. I like when they praise my name here and there. I’m proud of them all,” he said.
