Alleged stealing of pumping machine lands man in court

A 20-year-old man, Rahssed Hammed has been arraigned before an Osogbo Magistrates’ Court for allegedly stealing pumping machine.
The accused person committed the offence on November 15, 2019, at Owode-Ilesa road in Osogbo.
The Prosecutor, Olayiwola Rasaq told the court that the accused person stole a pumping machine valued N20,000, property of one AbdulWakeel Hammed.
The offence was contrary to and punishable under the Section 390(9) and of the Criminal Code Cap 34 Vol. II Laws of Osun state of Nigeria, 2002.
The accused person pleaded not guilty to the charges leveled against him.
Defence Counsel, kobie Najite prayed the court to grant his client bail in most liberal term.
He promised that his client would not jump bail and would produce that reliable sureties.
In her ruling, Magistrate Risikat Olayemi, granted the accused person bail in the sum of N10,000 with one surety in the like sum
The case was adjourned till December 23, 2019 for mention.
