‘Amnesty trainees ‘ll inspire technology growth’

Graduands of the skill development of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP), will strengthen technology, particularly in the Oil and Gas sector of Nigeria’s economy.

Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu gave the assertion  at the graduation ceremony of the trainees at Agadagba, Ese-Odo Local Government, area of the state.

The graduands were trained at Bradama International Skill Works Limited, Agadagba.

The  governor who was represented by his deputy Mr. Lucky Aiyedatiwa noted that the dearth of technical manpower in oil and gas sector, and other relevant sectors in the value chain has been one of the critical low points in the country’s quest for lasting solution to the many problems of oil industry.

Governor Akeredolu thanked President  Muhammadu Buhari for following through with Presidential Amnesty Programme.

In his remarks, the Interim Administrator, Presidential Amnesty Programme, Colonel Milland Dikio Rtd, congratulated the graduands as he enjoined them to be good ambassadors.

Also speaking, the guest lecturer, former Vice Chancellor, Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko, Professor Femi Mimiko harped on human capacity development in the country.
