Ondo State Security Network Agency codenamed Amotekun yesterday evacuated another 137 persons suspected to be security threat in the state back to their states of origin
The Corps had last Sunday evicted 42 persons whose mission in the state was questionable back to their various states
The 137 evictees were said to have been apprehended in the forest of Elegbeka, near Ifon, the headquarters of Ose local government area of the State.
They were escorted out of Ondo State to ensure their safety as well as to be convinced that they left the shores of Ondo State
Speaking with The Hope, the Corps Commander, Chief Adetunji Adeleye said the government escorted them out of the state to make sure they were back to their states of origin.
“We got a hint that very many strange face bombarded Elegbeka in Ifon area of the state.
“We moved in and during questioning, majority of them said they were from the northern part of the state and others said they were from Ogun state.
“We asked for their mission, they were not able to give us a clear cut of what they were here for.
We brought some of them and their sponsors to our headquarters for proper understanding.
“We profiled them and we found out that they were conniving with some persons in Ose to be given space for settlement in the government reserve which made them illegal occupants.
” We are sending them back to the north where they claimed they came from”.
