Apalara beneficiaries hail govt

Beneficiaries of Apalara Micro Credit Scheme who accessed N550 million loan from the present administration in Ondo state have expressed satisfaction as they hailed Akeredolu promising that they will pay back timely.
Speaking at separate interviews with The Hope, they described the loan as first of its kind which will help to alleviate poverty in the state at large.
The President of the Nigeria Union of Tailors, Pastor Olaniyi Ale said the programme will improve the economy of the business people.
He said a total of 360 tailors benefitted from the programme across the state and given according to their ability to pay.
The state Chairman of Tippers and quarry of Nigeria, Otunba Joseph Akinyanolenu said that his organisation has been benefitting from loans and have been paying back timely noting that they will continue to abide by the instructions so that they can continue to enjoy the privilege.
Akinyanolenu said over 100 of his members benefitted from the loan.
The chairman of the Ondo State Artisans and Traders Union in Akure South Local government, Mr. Bello Tajudeen described the programme as a very good one which will help develop their businesses.
The efforts, he said will reduce robbery and unwholesome activities in the state disclosing that over 500 of them benefitted.
The Chairman of Rehobot Cooperative society, Mr. Badejo Oluwagbemiga said the programme was one of the best through which the government supports the people declaring that it boosts those who have the talent but do not have the finances to develop their ideas.
He expressed that government is giving beneficiaries the hope and assurance for the future and helping people develop another source of income.
Bamidele Arubu who is the Chairman of God’s Will Association Community observed the uniqueness of the programme promising that they will pay accordingly.
The Financial Secretary of Good women landlady, Odo Oro Igoba, Akure, Mrs. Oluwatosin Kolawole said the programme is designed to assist women ensuring that the interest rate does not affect them.
The president of Ifesowopo multipurpose society of the Akure North local government area, Alhaji Aliu Adebayo, appreciated the governor saying, 60 of their members benefitted from the programme.
The President of Market people platform in the state, Mrs. Toyin Ogunleye impressed that the governor empowers women disclosed that 600 members of her organisation benefitted from the programme.
President of the Midwifery, Ominilale Fasakin observed the goodness of the programme which she opined made women relevant and contributes to the development of the family.
Afusat Ajibola, leader of the “Elelubo” promised to pay back timely so that she can benefit more.
President of Hair Dressers and Cosmetologists association, Mrs Kikelomo Olatawura showed satisfaction and praised the Governor for recognising the women.
