A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and staunch supporter of Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, Chief Oluwaseyi Gabriel Ogundare (OGO), has commended the governor for his visionary and people-oriented leadership, describing the ongoing transformation across Ondo State as a true reflection of progressive governance in action.
Ogundare, an Imoru-born technocrat and philanthropist from Ose Local Government Area, said the series of development-oriented decisions taken by the Aiyedatiwa-led administration in the past week alone clearly demonstrated the governor’s commitment to human welfare, youth empowerment and infrastructural renewal.
He particularly lauded the governor for clearing the 13-month backlog of salary arrears owed workers of the Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo (RUGIPO), describing it as a landmark achievement that speaks volumes of empathy and responsible governance.
According to him, Aiyedatiwa’s recent strides, including the approval of 101 kilometres of new and rehabilitated road projects across the state, the upgrading of ministry buildings and the kick off of the O’DATIWA U-17 Football Competition, underscored a government that is both responsive and reform-driven.
“This is not just governance; it’s restoration in motion,” Ogundare said. “From workers’ welfare to youth development, Governor Aiyedatiwa is reviving hope and redefining leadership in Ondo State. The people can now see what focused governance looks like.”
He also applauded President Bola Tinubu, for his Renewed Hope Agenda, which, according to him, has continued to guide state-level progress across the country, particularly in APC-led states like Ondo.
Ogundare expressed optimism that under Aiyedatiwa’s leadership, the Sunshine State would consolidate its gains and become a model of sustainable growth and inclusive development.
He urged the people of Ondo State to remain steadfast in their support for the administration, stressing that the governor’s track record of decisive action and people-first policies reflects the ideals of progressive politics that the APC stands for.
“The days of stagnation are gone. “What we see today is purposeful leadership — one that listens, acts and delivers. The governor deserves our collective support to continue the good work,” he added.
