As the countdown to the November 16 gubernatorial election draws near, Olorire Yetunde Adaramodu, a prominent chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Igbara-Oke, has publicly declared her unwavering support for Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa.
In a statement reflecting the stand of many residents in the council area, Adaramodu highlighted the Governor’s popularity and the affection he commands within the community, saying, “everyone loves him. I am proud to support him too, and I believe that he is the right choice for our state.”
Adaramodu is a respected figure in Igbaraoke, where she has worked tirelessly to address the challenges faced by her community.
In a chat with The Hope, she outlined some of the pressing issues that Igbara-Oke residents hope Governor Aiyedatiwa will tackle if elected.
“We are in urgent need of good roads. Many of our roads are in a dire state, making it difficult for us to commute and for business to thrive. The poor condition of our roads hampers economic activities and affects the overall quality of life for our people. We hope that Governor Aiyedatiwa will prioritise road repairs as part of his plans for our community.”
In addition to infrastructure, Adaramodu emphasised the critical need for improved access to clean water. She specifically called for the implementation of solar-powered water system, which would not only provide a sustainable source of water but also promote health and sanitation in the community.
“We want ‘Odirorun water’ in Igbara-Oke. Access to clean and reliable water is essential for our health and well-being. I have faith that the Governor will address these critical needs, and I believe that with God’s help, our prayers will be answered,” she said.
Adaramodu urged the people to unite and support Aiyedatiwa’s campaign.
“I urge everyone in Igbara-Oke to come out in large numbers to vote for Lucky Aiyedatiwa on November 16. This is not just about one person; it’s about our community’s future,” she declared.
She further urged citizens to consider the broader implications of their votes, adding that, “by coming together, we can ensure that our voices are heard and that our needs are met. We have the power to influence the direction of our community. With God’s grace, we will all celebrate a successful outcome on November 17.”
