Ahead of the gubernatorial election in Ondo State, a chieftain of All Progressives Congress, APC, Dr. Michael Ajilo and Special Adviser to State Governor on Mobilisation, Mr. Olayinka Olakanmi, have reiterated their commitments to  secure victory for Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa and his Deputy, Dr. Olajide Adelami, at the next month election.

They stated this in an interview with The Hope.

Ajilo advocated for innovative strategies centered on governor’s achievements in agricultural revolution, infrastructural development, education, youth engagement and empowerment, an improved state economy, food security, prompt payment of pensions and gratuities, among others.

He charged AJILO ADVOCATES in Ondo East and Ondo West Local Governments to step up their advocacy on voter enlightenment and focus more on the personality of Aiyedatiwa to ensure the continued delivery of good governance in the state beyond 2025.

The compassionate advocate for the underserved and globally inclined medical doctor vowed to leave no stone unturned in ensuring that  majority of votes cast in the two local governments will be for the APC.

Also, Mr. Olayinka Olakanmi, Special Adviser to Governor Aiyedatiwa on Mobilisation, described Aiyedatiwa as a grassroots politician and a youth leader with the capacity to transform the fortunes of the state.

He stated that the Aiyedatiwa-led APC government in the state has become a party to reckon with, as political gladiators have joined the APC—a formidable party—due to the sustainable peace maintained by the governor within the party.

Olakanmi acknowledged that the youths in the state, particularly in Ondo East and Ondo West Local Governments, are now more united behind the Aiyedatiwa/Adelami ticket.

He expressed confidence that the APC will be the party to beat in the November election.

“Several support groups, including youths, have left the opposition parties to declare their support for Aiyedatiwa’s continuity, through which an ideal society can be achieved,” he said.

He added that Aiyedatiwa’s new term would bring about great development, transforming the state’s economy from being salary-based to an industrial economy.
