The Ifedore leaders included Major General Seebi James (rtd), the Commissioner for Energy, Engr Razaq Obe, member of the House of Assembly representing Ifedore, Hon. Tope Komolafe, and Dr. Seun Osamaye (Eye Omo).
Earlier, the Governor had paid a visit to the traditional ruler of the town, Oba Adefarakanmi Agbede, the Olowa of Igbara-Oke, where he received royal blessings.
On his way to Ifedore, the Governor had a stop over at a rally in his support organised by a chieftain of the APC in Akure, Barrister Olumuyiwa Adu, at the Democracy Park in Akure.
Addressing the crowd of supporters, the Governor commended the efforts of the convener, saying the huge turnout is another pointer to victory at the primary.
