The Caretaker Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State, Mr. Ade Adetimehin, has declared that the ward congresses of the party scheduled for tomorrow (Saturday) is sacrosanct.
He said all the processes needed for the conduct of the congresses have been put in place.
This, he said while speaking with The Hope that the State Caretaker Executive Officers of the party have prepared ahead of the congresses, urging members to disregard any speculation of not holding the exercise tomorrow.
It would be recalled that the party had released the schedule of activities and guidelines for the conduct of its ward congresses, scheduled for Saturday July 31, 2021.
Adetimehin, while assuring members of the party the readiness of the State Caretaker Executive Officers for the exercise said all the needful have been done to make the congresses work out as expected.
According to him, “as at today, the Saturday congresses stand. All the processes for the conduct of hitch free congresses are on course. We have done all the needful to make the congresses work out as expected”
He also added that arrangements have also been made for local, state congresses and national convention which will follow after the ward congresses
“More so, it is an internal affair of the party as one family . After the ward congresses, the local, state congress and the national convention will follow accordingly
“Members of the party should not listen to any speculation but the organ of the party will give appropriate directive for the success of the congresses,” he stated.
