APC suspends governor’s aide over snake incident at govt house

The All Progressives Congress, APC, Kebbi State chapter, has suspended Kabir Sani-Giant, Special Adviser to Governor Nasir Idris on Power and Politics, following allegations that he used a snake to intimidate individuals at the Government House.
In a statement issued in Birnin Kebbi on Sunday, the party’s state secretary, Alhaji Sa’idu Muhammad-Kimba, disclosed that the incident occurred on February 8, 2025, causing distress among dignitaries, statesmen, and government officials.
Describing the act as highly inappropriate and a violation of the party’s constitution, Muhammad-Kimba stated that such behaviour could damage the APC’s reputation.
He noted that the suspension remains in effect pending further investigations, warning that if found culpable, Sani-Giant could face additional sanctions, including expulsion, should such an incident recur.
