APC tasks members on 2023 polls

Stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Odigbo Local Government area of Ondo State have been urged to intensify effort in ensuring victory for the party ahead of the 2023 general elections.

This was coming ahead of campaign for the general elections  which is expected to kickstart in September as stipulated by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.

Addressing the stakeholders, the party’s House of Assembly candidate from Odigbo Constituency 1, Mr. Olatunji Ifabiyi admonished members of the party to prepare for the campaign and not allow dwindling economy of the country affect the preparation.

“It is never a gainsaying that members of the party are currently passing through some difficulties and severe pains as the party itself can not afford to pay the prize of its people needs at a moment due to the dwindling economy of the nation.

“I strongly believe that immediately power returns to the South, the economy of Nigeria will return to  normal and every reasonable Nigerian will now  understand the current predicaments the country finds itself.

He urged members of the party not to rest on their oars in promoting the peace, unity and progress of the party.

“I assure all Nigerians that the country will soon wax stronger than ever.

Also speaking, the newly appointed Commissioner , Mr. Amidu Takuro applauded his people for their unflinching supports and prayers, saying his representation as State Commissioner would not be  in jeopardy but productive.

Amidu, thanked State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu for confiding in him with the task ahead.

Earlier, the party’s Chairman in the Local Government, Alhaji Fatai Olawale appreciated all women leaders of the party for their promptness at all time, urging  them to do exploit to make the party win all its elective seats come 2023.
