The Association of Positive Minded Friend( APF) has enlisted over 80 youths in Ondo city for Vocational and Technical Training in order to add value to their lives and also to eradicate anti-social value in  the State.

The chairman of the association, Mr Ebenezer Akinduyite disclosed this during the official commissioning of Vocational Technical Training for youths in the city which was held at the Oba Oludoko Palace, Ondo.

The chairman who was represented by the secretary of the association, Mr. Olakunle Martin’s said that the association was established to eradicate cultism, crime, drugs abuse, other anti-social value and to add value to the lives of the widows and widowers.

He said that when the youth are not engaged  in doing job that can add value to their lives, they can be used as political thugs in the coming elections.

According to him, empowering youths in the society is to help them in building their lives,  eradicate crimes  in the society and the state at large.

Akinduyite however said that the association has no political coloration but to empower youths in Ondo and its environs for continuous peaceful co-existence.

The chairman  advised the participants to see the programme as a privilege for them and endeavour to manage it thoroughly.

According to the chairman, Advisory Board, Dr. Ajisola Omojeje urged the participants to key into the opportunity, adding that, hey should not see it as a mere formality but as a great future benefit.
