Approval coming for new Igoba market

By Fatima Muraina

The newly established Igoba perishable goods market located in Akure, the Ondo state capital will soon get government’s approval.
The Special Adviser to the State Governor on Market, Mr Sikiru Raji disclosed this while speaking in an interview with The Hope.
Raji hinted that the approval will be done through the ministry of Commerce and Industry.
According to the Special Adviser, the traders had left Shasha to form the Igoba perishable market because of molestation.
“To avoid problems in the nearest future, they established Igoba perishable market,” he noted.
Government, Raji said, expects to make sure that people live in peace which he said was the reason they were exonerated to avoid problem.
Raji, who had visited the market, said the market was spacious enough for its purpose.
He however noted that the approval was delayed due to the present tour to markets across the state by the Senior Special Adviser to the Governor on markets, who he said would facilitate the approval.
