Arise means stand up. I don’t know which position those circumstances have put you. Are you sitting down or lying down? Are you sleeping or dosing? Are you at the edge of giving up? or you are feeling like throwing in the towel. Are you tired of the situation around you? Are you overwhelmed? Then God is saying arise now. Stand up today; mount up to a higher place. You are not made to be down. You are fitted to reign over that circumstance or challenge.
The Holy Ghost is saying that you should emerge from below the horizon as the sun arises. Spring up. Leave the grave. Move from that state of inaction. Become visible. That place is not your portion. How do I know that? Did the maker of heaven and earth not say in Hiss word in Jeremiah 29:11? “For I know the plans that I have for you,’ declares the LORD, ‘plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope.” (NASB)
I checked my bible dictionary, it says Arise means to invade, assault or begin hostility. The Holy Ghost is mandating us to Arise and react against the activities of the wicked in our lives. He is looking forward to the one that would say to the devil “enough is enough!”
But before we can do that we have to arise from our sinfulness by taking advantage of the death of Jesus on the cross. He shed the blood to answer the power of sin and its consequences- e.g. Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord”. (NASB) Every man gained their death when Adam sinned and no good deeds outside Jesus can get you to a right standing with God. So can we please ask him to come into our lives again and live His life through us. Then secondly, let’s ask for the Spirit of wisdom and understanding to know what the blood of Jesus has purchased for us. The Bible says.” but just as it is written, “THINGS WHICH EYE HAS NOT SEEN AND EAR HAS NOT HEARD, AND which HAVE NOT ENTERED THE HEART OF MAN, ALL THAT GOD HAS PREPARED FOR THOSE WHO LOVE HIM.” (1 Corinthians 2:9, NASB). One of the things that belong to us by His Shed blood is Victory over Sin and its consequences. One of the Consequences of sin is Death. “The person who sins will die…….. (Ezekiel 18:20, NASB). Death is anything evii. The Sacrifice of Jesus Translated from the Kingdom of darkness where death reigns to the Kingdom of Light where death has lost its power over our lives (Colossians 1:13). All we are to do now is to reign in life through Christ. Romans 15:17 claims you have the authority to put that situation under your feet. If you are born again, you are seated in heavenly places far above principalities, powers and dominion . “5 even when we were dead in our transgressions, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), 6 and raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, (Ephesians 2:5-6, NASB)
Let us take advantage of this Truth and speak prophetically from our vantage position over our lives. Herein lies our shining. The sweetest part is that when you take action, you begin to shine. Unbelievers would even come to your rising, because of your testimony. Study Isaiah 60 very well. There are financial benefits in your rising. The Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead will quicken our spirit to know what to do, where to cast our nets for harvest. He will give you ideas that will terminate financial shame.
