32 Artillery Brigade Commander urges officers to sustain dedication, loyalty

The Nigerian Army has announced the promotion of two senior officers to the rank of Colonel in recognition of their exemplary service and commitment to national duty.
In a statement released on Thursday by the Assistant Director of Army Public Relations, 32 Artillery Brigade, Major Njoka Irabo, the newly promoted officers were identified as Colonel Yahya Ardo and Colonel Mohammed Gombe.
A colourful investiture ceremony was held at the 32 Artillery Brigade Officers’ Mess, Owena Cantonment, Akure, where family members, friends and colleagues gathered to celebrate the officers’ milestone achievements.
Addressing the gathering, the Commander of the 32 Artillery Brigade, Brigadier General Justin Ifeanyi, congratulated the officers on their elevation, describing the promotion as a reward for diligence, loyalty and professionalism.
He charged them to sustain the momentum of excellence and continue to uphold the values of the Nigerian Army.
Brigadier General Ifeanyi also lauded the officers’ spouses for their steadfast support, noting that their understanding and encouragement had been instrumental in enabling the officers to excel in their duties.
Responding on behalf of the newly promoted officers, Colonel Yahya Ardo expressed gratitude to the Chief of Army Staff for the confidence reposed in them.
He also appreciated the Brigade Commander for his mentorship and guidance, pledging unwavering loyalty and commitment to the responsibilities that accompany their new ranks.
The ceremony was attended by senior officers, family members and friends, who joined in celebrating the newly promoted Colonels for their dedication and service to the nation.
