Arogbofa’s death: NNPP sympathizes with family

The New Nigeria Political Party (NNPP) Ondo State chapter has joined Oka Akoko sons and daughters as well as other well meaning Nigerians to commiserate with the Arogbofa’s family and Oka Akoko community over the demise of General Jones Arogbofa.

Arogbofa who served as Chief of Staff to former President Goodluck Jonathan reportedly died at the weekend at the age of 72.

The Ondo State Chairman of the party, Mr. Peter Olagookun, in a condolence message signed and made available to journalists by in Akure,, described General Arogbofa’s death as a great loss to Oka Akoko community, the state and the country at large.

Olagookun, an indigene of Oka-Akoko, described the deceased as a good man who contributed greatly to humanity, and spent his life helping people, especially the downtrodden.

According to him, the deceased also gave priority to the development of his community, the state and the country.

While sympathizing with Olubaka of Okaland, HRM, Oba (Dr.) Yusuf Adeleye and chiefs, he said “We can see what he had done, we can feel his impact in the community and we know those that have been raised through him,”

He prayed to God Almighty to console and grant members of his family, the state and Nigeria in general the fortitude to bear the loss.
