Assembly poll: APC candidate most popular–Ondo IPAC

The Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC), Ondo State has declared that the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Akure South constituency 1, Toluwani Borokini is the most popular candidate among other candidates of political parties participating in the Saturday’s House of Assembly election in the state.
The state Chairman of IPAC, Mr. Olaoluwa Adesanya who made the declaration while speaking with journalists during the distribution of sensitive materials for Saturday’s poll said APC may carry the day.
Fourteen political parties will be participating in the Saturday’s election in the state.
He insisted that the name of Borokini is ringing bell.
Though, he said the IPAC is not a political party, it came out with findings in Akure constituency 1 that the party will coast to victory.
He urged all the leaders of each political party to sensitize their members on the need to compose themselves against political thuggery and violence during and after the election.
Adesanya noted that it has become very difficult to rig in the country with the introduction of the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS).
He expressed confidence in INEC to conduct credible election on Saturday
The chairman advised the electoral body to improve on its shortcomings to make voting materials available to polling units before commencement of the poll.
