The Academic Staff Union of Secondary Schools (ASUSS) has extended heartfelt congratulations to Dr (Mrs) Ronke Soyombo on her recent appointment as the Registrar and Chief Executive Officer of the Teachers’ Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN).

In a joint statement signed by ASUSS President, Comrade Adigun, and Secretary-General, Comrade Kenneth Okoh, the union described Dr Soyombo’s appointment as a well-deserved recognition of her unwavering dedication to the education sector and her extensive experience in educational administration and policy development.

The statement emphasised that her leadership comes at a critical time for the teaching profession in Nigeria, which requires visionary direction, standardisation and a renewed focus on professionalism and ethics.

“On behalf of the Academic Staff Union of Secondary Schools (ASUSS), we heartily congratulate Dr Ronke Soyombo on her appointment as the Executive Secretary of the TRCN.
