Late Lady Evangelist Grace Bosede Akeredolu, JP, mother of Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State has been described as a great woman of grace whose exemplary legacy of love and service to mankind will continue to live after her.

An international businessman and prominent son of Owo, Adelabu Obanigba, while speaking at a reception he organised for Governor Akeredolu and his siblings in honour of their late mother in Owo, particularly lauded Mama Akeredolu for her exemplary service to God and humanity.

He noted that late Lady Evangelist Grace Akeredolu was a perfect example of a true mother whose life and time should be celebrated by all.

Obanigba explained that the reception was another contribution from him to further celebrate the graceful exit of the nonagenarian, whom he described as a good and caring mother to all.

According to him, all Owo sons and daughters, both home and abroad, will continue to celebrate the great woman of virtue even after her death, praying God to grant her eternal rest and sustain the children left behind.

He equally congratulated Governor Akeredolu and his siblings for surviving their aged mother, even as he lauded them for giving a befitting burial to a worthy mother who lived a fulfilled life serving God and humanity.

Speaking at the well attended reception, Governor Akeredolu who led his wife, Mrs Betty Anyanwu-Akeredolu and his siblings to the event, appreciated the business tycoon for organizing a fantastic reception in honour of the late mother.

He equally commended all Owo sons and daughters as well as all invited guests across the country for their support throughout the burial arrangements, saying he cannot thank them enough.

“You have done so well. You have done so many things. I can’t count everything. You have been good to all of us. I thank you for hosting us to this lavish reception”, the Governor said.
