Michael Ofulue | Seven suspected political thugs believed to be loyal to the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) have been arrested by police detectives attached to Ifon divisional headquarters, in Ose Local Government area of Ondo State. The Hope Metro reliably gathered that the hoodlums, were apprehended while in a vehicle loaded with arms and ammunitions at a point in Ifon town. Victor Akinkuolie, Ado-Ekiti | There was palpable fear in Ekiti State at the weekend as thunder reportedly struck dead 15 cows at the outskirt of Ikogosi Ekiti, Ekiti West Local Government area of Ekiti State. Victor Akinkuolie, Ado-Ekiti | After four days in the den of his captors, Mr Jide Ijadare, a former officer of the kidnaped United States Army and a native of Ijan Ekiti, has recounted his ordeals in the hands of his abductors. They were arrested following a complaint lodge by farmers in Odoripo community of Oda town against them.
