Be an entrepreneur, Akeredolu tasks Positive FM GM

Ondo state Governor, Arakurin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu has advised the outgoing General Manager of Radio Nigeria Positive FM 102.5 Akure, Deacon Olufemi Oladipo to be an entrepreneur and use his acquired skills and qualities to establish himself as he bows out of service.

Represented by the Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Mr Yemi Olowolabi, Akeredolu charged him to be inspired and not to be tired.

The governor gave the charge at the retirement ceremony of the General Manager from the service of Radio Nigeria held at First Molac Hotel, Ondo road Akure.

The Zonal director of Radio Nigeria, Alhaji Yahaya Bello described Oladipo as a dedicated, hardworking staff who has used his journalistic skills to better the establishment.

Also speaking, the Chairman of Ondo State Radiovision Corporation, OSRC, Mr. Kunle Adebayo poured encomiums on him describing the outgoing manager as a hardworking journalist to the core.

Dignitaries at the event were, Chief Sanya Oyinsan, Mr James Sowole, Adewunmi Faniran, Mr Mayokun Akinmoladun who represented the former Commissioner for Information in Ondo state, Mr Kayode Akinmade, and members of Federal Heads of Establishments in Ondo state.

Awards were thereafter presented to the retired GM by colleagues and friends and he appreciated the staff members of Positive FM and Ondo state generally for the cooperation, and support he received throughout his stay in the State as the GM of the establishment.

In his vote of thanks on behalf of the celebrant, the head of the Oladipo family, Chief Sola Oladipo prayed for long life for all those who honoured their son.
