Be focused, Beach Volleyball coaches, players urged

Otunba Bola Fisayo has admonished Ondo State Beach Volleyball coaching crew and their players to remain focus in their quest to take the game to enviable height.
Otunba Fisayo who sponsored the team to the just concluded South west under – 17 Beach Volleyball competition held in Ibadan, stated this while receiving the team in his office in Akure, the state capital.
He said government cannot do it alone that was the reason he decided to sponsor the team to the southwest game.
He urged the coaching crew not to be discouraged with the outcome of the competition that saw them came 4th in competition and won the behaved team.
He said “bring your players together, be focused and continue your training the sky won’t be enough to be your limit with the performance you displayed in your maiden competition.
“The players should also ensure they marry their education with their talents, saying the players have displayed good character that Ondo State is known for.
“Maintain your character, you are not a loser, you came first in character which is the success of whatever we do in life, it’s not about winning alone, he said.”
The chief coach of the state beach volleyball, Bolanle Samuel Akinsehinwa thanked the sponsor for his contribution to the development of the new game in the state.
Meanwhile Ondo State maintained their unbeaten records over Ekiti State since both sides partways 25 years ago by defeating them 2-0 in the competition.
Ondo State ended the game with fourth position While Oyo State came first, followed by Lagos State who came second and Osun state with third position.
Praise Obisesan and John George represent Ondo State in the competition guided by Coach Fasugba Abiodun Karmel.
