Be good ambassadors,VC charges students

Students have been enjoined to be good ambassadors in order to become moral rectitude to the society.

The Vice-Chancellor of Adeleke University, Ede Osun State, Professor Dayo Alao, stated this while addressing students of the institution at a meeting.

Alao who also tasked the students on the need to face their studies, reminded them that the foundation of whatever they intend to become in future could only be laid while they are still in the institution.

He implored the students to shun any behaviour or activity capable of tarnishing the image of the school as the outside world is looking at them as the mirror of the institution.

Alao counselled the students who are deficient in any area to make up quickly in order for them not to lag behind.

The VC hinted that it is only when the students accomplish their primary mission in the institution that they can be a source of pride to both themselves and their parents or guardians.

The Don who showered encomiums on the academic staff of the Faculty of Law in the university said the success story of the faculty was a result of exemplary cooperation of the lecturers in their various callings.

He enjoined the academic staff of the faculty to continue to be steadfast in both their  fatherly and academic roles to the students, telling them that God Almighty will continue to reward them in their concerted efforts to shape the future of children of other parents.
