Be innovative, new OSDPC GM, Amure charged

Newly appointed General Manager of Ondo State Development and Property Corporation, Mr Michael Amure, has been advised to manage the corporation with the fear of God and be innovative.
Former Head of Service, Mr Kolawole Kosemani gave the advice during the inauguration of the general manager at the corporation’s multipurpose hall in Ijapo, Akure.

Kosemani urged the General Manager not to listen to side talks and sycophancy, saying he should investigate any matter brought to him and allow the Holy Spirit direct him.
She said: “For you to become the general manager is not by coincidence, but by the grace of God. On this note, I urge you to seek divine knowledge, wisdom and understanding to manage to return the corporation to its fullest potential”.
“I also charge the staff to support the General Manager for the overall interest of the corporation.”
Speaking on behalf of the former General Manager of the corporation, Mr Olubode Sawe, urged the General Manager to be accountable and make staff welfare a priority.
Sawe added that the GM should be a good mentor to all the staff, and work diligently to return the lost glory of the corporation.
According to him, “you must work very hard and invest in human capacity development to make your job easier”.
In his reaction, the General Manager, Mr Michael Amure thanked God and all the attendees for their supports, promising that he would put God first before taking any decision.
He promised to prioritise staff welfare and ensure they get whatever is due to them as entitlement.
Amure however, sought for the maximum support from from the staff, to enable the corporation achieve accelerated development.
“I will work assiduously to return the housing to where it should be,and I’m assuring you that we will move the corporation forward with ur cooperation, and build on the good legacies our former managers left behind”.
