Bethel College matriculates 71

Newly admitted students of Bethel College of Education, Ijare been have enjoined to pursue their academic dreams vigorously, maintain peace and shun anti- social behaviours.
The Vice Chancellor, Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko, Prof Igbekele Ajibefun gave the advice at the matriculation ceremony for the fresh students of the college for the 2017/2018 academic session.
Bethel College of education, Ijare is an affiliate of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko.
Seventy one new students were matriculated at the ceremony held at Bethel College of Education campus, Ijare in Ifedore Local Government area of Ondo State. After administering the Oath of Allegiance and the Matriculation Oath on the new students, the VC who was represented by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academics), Prof Francis Gbore, congratulated them for successfully scaling the rigorous, but fair hurdles of admission into the institution, noting that “it is a case of many came, but few were chosen”.
He added that the ceremony marked another milestone in the quest of Adekunle Ajasin University to bring quality and affordable education to the doorsteps of people in its locality.
Ajibefun assured that the university would continue to strive to provide an atmosphere that is conducive to learning and research, and make available facilities and infrastructure that would ensure quality teaching and learning in order to produce qualitative and competitive graduates.
Also speaking, the Acting Provost, Bethel College of Education, Ijare, Prince Ojo Adewole, who expressed joy over what he called the first of its kind affiliation programme with AAUA, urged all lovers of education across Ifedore council area to take advantage of the quality education that is being brought to their doorsteps to improve themselves and humanity.
Adewole equally advised the matriculating students not to allow the joy of the moment get into their heads, but sit up and study hard to achieve academic excellence.
