Better days ahead for Sunshine Stars – ODSFA Boss

The chairman of Ondo State Football Agency (ODSFA), Otunba Tajudeen Olajide Akinyemi, has described Sunshine Stars winning of Gold Cup 2018 pre-season’s tourney final as a good thing to come ahead of the new NPFL season.
Akinyemi who stated this during an interview with Sporting Hope in his Oda office said, winning the Cup shows that the reorganisation that took place in the team has been yielding good result.
“We are looking forward to the future to do creditably well in the league, we want to win the league, not by any other possible means, but because we have raised our game, because we are a reorganised team”
He said, what the Sunshine’s Stars fans saw during the weekend final was a starting point for the team, saying it was a sign of good things to come ahead of the new season.
Recalled that the last time Sunshine Stars won gold cup tourney the team did creditably well in the league.
The ODSFA boss added that with full support of our fans, we will surpass the feet the team achieved in that season, saying football is not magic , it is about professionalism ,love and peace .
“It is about people working together to achieve a common goal and that is what is happening in Sunshine Stars, the players, coaching crew and the management are working assiduously to see that our fans will laugh at the end of the season”.
His words: Our fans should relax , with their full support they will see a brand new Sunshine Stars that will make them happy, the team need their players and support like never before.
“I believe that better days are ahead for our team”.
He urged the people of the state to give maximum support to the new Sunshine Stars Coaching crew led by Kabir Dogo , saying with what he has displayed since his arrival, with open mind and encouragement he will deliver.
The soft spoken football administrator, appreciated the organiser’s of the 2018 Gold Cup tourney for awarding him the pillar of sport best Chairman, saying the award will spur him to do more for sports development in the state and Nigeria at large.
